In this episode we left Ca Mau and drove to Long Xuyen. On the way we stopped by Tan Hue Vien food processing co. to buy some Banh Pia. Its a well known pastry that's filled with durian inside. After that we dropped by a restaurant to grab some lunch. We ate a well known Long Xuyen dish called: Bun Mam — It's a fermented thick Vietnamese vermicelli soup with fish paste and shrimp paste.Once we arrived in Long Xuyen we checked in our hotel, cleaned up, then took a ferry that carried passengers and vehicles to Ong Ho Island (Tiger Island). According to the people living in this island, the origin of name was because in the past there were many tigers and panthers residing. On this island we visited President Ton Duc Thang's Memorial Zone. In the evening, we went out for dinner with my sister's boyfriend's family. We had:Bo Ne — Which is steak served sizzling.Bo Bia — Is a popular street food that consisted of crispy dried sugar cane candies, shredded coconut, & black sesame seeds. We also had a hot pot that had instant noodles with eggs, I'm not sure what it was called. If you enjoy watching my videos, please remember to like, comment and subscribe. That's not the hotel that we usually stay. I believed Hoa Binh 1 is where we normally stay.
