I love your videos and your channel. My girlfriend and I spent Xmas 2024 in Hanoi and fell completely head over heels in love with Vietnam. We are dying to get back and I think this vlog pretty much sealed the deal....Thank you for sharing your travels with us and I wish your family nothing but the best. Safe Travels.
Big fat thumbs up for your family to take the time to stop by Hue. I think Hue is the most underrated city in Vietnam. It's a city with a very unique pace and atmosphere and feel. If you want to get away from the hectic pace of HCMC and Ha Noi, Hue is the place. Cultured, low key and quiet people, not resort staff friendly but the subtle niceness of an old historic city.
I used to live and work in VN and my Vietnamese friends told me the people in Hue have the softest accent but the people there is the most principled and disciplined people in all of Vietnam.
Back in 2002, I stopped in Hue and caught the Hue Festival, by chance, see the two high schools on Le Loi Boulevard ending and got to see hundreds of Vietnamese female students walk out of the gate in their traditional «ao dai» flowing and they looked like butterflies streaming out. Saw couple of teenage boys on bicycles picking up their girlfriend on their bicycles and felt like I was in a novel. I got a peek inside those high school school yard and was blown away by how beautiful those 2 high schools were.

I love your channel. I visited one time to Vietnam and can’t wait to come back again.
