Breakfast on the MEKONG RIVER in Can Tho, Vietnam HD

EXPLORING THE MEKONG DELTAI wanted to explore the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam so I visited three cities – Ben Tre, Sa Dec, and Can Tho. They all provided an interesting glimpse into life along the Mekong River, but for me, my best river experience was in Can Tho.I rented a boat and visited Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets. I had hot black coffee on the boat and enjoyed a terrific breakfast of hu tieu or rice noodle soup on the river. It was one of my most memorable breakfasts in Vietnam.We then cruised through the narrower channels of the Mekong River and visited a rice noodle factory where I got to try a deep-fried rice noodle dish with pork, egg, and salad.
